This is a sales term which informs you that the item you are about to purchase is not guaranteed to work or function right! 
It may well function on the shop floor, but you are ‘on your own’ once taken out of the store. ‘Sold as is’ are usually items that have been on display
for a while, or been out for repairs or even returned by another unsatisfied customer!

The manufacturers’ guarantee in this instance no longer covers the product. Once purchased it can NEVER be returned for an exchange or refund! It is simply sold and not guaranteed a perfect item! But one thing is guaranteed though, you can always take it back for repair at your expense!

Are you at this point thinking what am thinking? Marriage! Yeah! 
That spouse is no longer the perfect person God created him/her to be! As a matter of fact, there is no perfection in us. (James 3:2)

He or she may look and sound right and behave to your expectation before the wedding, but there is no guarantee that you’ll continue to enjoy him/her without defect or breakdown. Particularly having been reconditioned by exposure to others from the manufacturer’s originality.

Once taken, he/she can never be returned to the movies Maker or manufacturer – in this case God! 
The day you said “I DO” you entered into a COVENANT of NO RETURN; NO REPLACEMENT and NO REFUND!

Your only saving grace is to seek the manufacturer to help in repairing and fixing whatever goes wrong with your ‘SOLD AS IS’ spouse. 
Beloved, this manufacturer knows His products inside out and is limitless in what He can do with His products. He not only repairs, but He can change every part and make us all new again!
